Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.
James Baldwin
Shugborough Hall County Fair
It was that time of year so off we went to start our weekend volunteering with Pets As Therapy. As usual we were first there (I like to be early everywhere I go) so we had a wander around the stalls as they were setting up and met the goats, chickens, horses, ferrets and many more.
Rossi does enjoy having a kiss off all the animals he meets. One goat was quite demanding of a kiss, so Rossi lay down and turned away. No way was that goat having a kiss off Rossi. He refused as the goat was way too pushy for my little lad.
We had a wander down to the exotic pets where a bearded dragon took a liking to Rossi and wanted to walk on his nose. Rossi didn't know what to make of it and just sat there wondering what the weird looking thing with no fur was trying to do him.
I think Rossi's favourite part of the weekend was the goat milking demonstration. That stuff gets everywhere and tasted delicious. I'm sure Rossi would have happily taken the milk directly from the goat if he could have reached!
We had a few photo sessions with Rossi posing with children and all the other lovely P.A.T. dogs doing similar. Also as we don't often get many of us together we managed to get a few photos of the P.A.T. dogs together. As always I avoided the photos by being the one holding the camera.
