Let’s stop "tolerating" or "accepting" difference, as if we’re so much better for not being different in the first place. Instead, let’s celebrate difference, because in this world it takes a lot of guts to be different.
Return to our visits
It was a long time off from our visits, but after Rossi had lost a few toes to bone cancer he was ready for a return to visiting his friends again. It was a lovely first day, we caught up with many old friends plus lots of new faces too. It was a first for Wendy as she'd never visited a hospice before. All three pooches behaved impeccably and made lots of new friends.
You can just make out Rossi's boot in this picture as we were keeping it clean just in case. You can't make out that he's missing a toe on each foot unless you count the claws as John (our vet) did an amazing job of saving the foot and more importantly Rossi.
Don't all three look stunning in their uniforms?! I must admit that I am so proud of all three of them.
