MCC Get Off Your Butt
MCC Get Off Your Butts kindly agreed to host an event to raise funds for Dog A.I.D. & Acorns Childrens Hospice.
Paula "Pol" Bird organised the event at the Railway Tavern in Norton Canes and the landord and landlady joined in with all the fun and antics. Apparently egg and flour is good for the hair. Well Paula was given that hair treatment after a few beers. There was a live band that entertained the crowds, horse races and various "adult" games to amuse everyone.
There was one game that Rossi was sure to win but didn't enter..... The Man Vs Food competition. Unfortunately Rossi isn't allowed to enter such competitions as he's classed as a dog. I think they were scared of the competition as Rossi would have devoured the 10 quarter pounders in a matter of a few seconds.
Rossi and Eboni did Dog A.I.D. proud and raised awareness as well as valuable funds.
The pub dog was a friendly 8 year old German Shepherd by the name of Lucky. He came across to say hello and show Rossi & Eboni the correct way to wolf down burgers and sausages.
It was a great day but Rossi and I had to leave early as we weren't prepared for how hard MCC Get Off Your Butts party.
Thanks to Paula and all involved. Hopefully we'll catch up again soon and I won't be so poorly prepared for the partying.
