Well it's a rare day. Actual sunshine and a dry day in June!!!
We couldn't waste a day like this so off we went to the local nature reserve. We haven't been before, so this was going to be Rossi's first time meeting the ponies, sheep and all the other animals there.
After we managed with the weird angled step and steep slope, we went to see the ponies. Rossi and the one pony hit it off from the start. After a flutter of eyelashes, the pony pulled it's lips back so Rossi could have a good lick of its gums and teeth.
The poor pony looked so sad when Rossi and I had to carry on to see other animals. I think Rossi promised to return another day as the pony had a bounce in its step as he walked away.
Next it was the sheep. I expected the sheep to take a look of Rossi and run to the other side of the paddock. I was wrong! A black sheep came right up to Rossi so Rossi leaned forward for a sniff and lick. The sheep then moved in closer and bit Rossi on the nose!!! Be warned, sheep are vicious!!!
So we carried on with our walk and met the goats, a horse, some geese, a llama and 2 very grumpy pigs.
We will definitely be going back again soon if we ever have another sunny day!
